Hello! I am Kayla, the owner of Parenting Expert to Mom.
I have been working as a developmental therapist in birth to 3 early intervention since 2012.
Much of the work I do involves coaching both parents and caregivers on strategies to encourage development through play and daily routines.
I have obtained my master’s degree in education as well as my bachelor’s in special education with an emphasis in early childhood special education.
After 5 years of giving parenting advice to others, I became a parent myself when I gave birth to my son.
Hence the name “Parenting Expert to Mom”.
What I learned through this experience is the strategies that I was using as an Early Interventionist work well with ALL children.
So why did I start Parenting Expert to Mom? To share the information that I have learned from working with parents, babies, and toddlers to more families.
Everything on this site has been created because of my experiences working with children as an Early Interventionist or are things that I do with my son and daughter at home (usually both)!
I also share videos that are both educational and entertaining to my over 300K followers on Tik Tok and Instagram as @Baby.Toddler.Teacher
